Terms of Service

1. Agreement

These Terms of Service govern your use of acrux.co, your Acrux account, the Professional Contact List Builder, and other Acrux tools that link to these terms. By creating an account or using these services, you agree to these terms and the Privacy Policy.

2. Accounts

You must provide accurate account information, keep your credentials secure, and promptly notify Acrux if you suspect unauthorized use. You are responsible for activity performed through your account. Acrux may require email verification and may limit or suspend access to protect users, data, or the service.

3. Permitted use

Use Acrux tools only for lawful professional and business purposes. You may not use them to harass, deceive, discriminate, impersonate, violate another person's privacy, bypass access controls, collect restricted or private information, distribute malware, or interfere with the service.

4. Public-information research

The Professional Contact List Builder is designed to locate intentionally published professional and business information. Results may include names, business affiliations, job titles, business contact details, and source links. A result's inclusion does not grant permission for every possible use. You are responsible for complying with privacy, advertising, anti-spam, telemarketing, and other laws that apply to your outreach.

5. Authorized uploads

You may upload a contact file only if you own it or are authorized to use and process it. You must make the required authorization statement before upload. You retain ownership of your uploaded content and grant Acrux a limited license to process it solely to provide the requested service. Original uploaded files are deleted after processing; generated records may remain in your account until deleted or otherwise removed under the Privacy Policy.

6. Results and AI-assisted features

Acrux tools may use automated and AI-assisted processing. Results can be incomplete, outdated, duplicated, or inaccurate. Acrux provides sources and confidence indicators where available, but you must review important information before relying on it. Acrux does not guarantee a particular number of contacts or business outcome.

7. Ownership

Acrux retains ownership of its website, reusable tools, software, branding, methods, and supporting materials. You retain ownership of content you submit. Ownership and delivery of custom client software are governed by the applicable written client agreement; Acrux's objective is for approved custom implementations to become durable client-owned software intellectual property as specified in that agreement.

8. Availability and changes

Acrux may improve, modify, pause, or discontinue features and may establish reasonable usage limits. We work to provide a reliable service but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free availability.

9. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the service at any time. Acrux may suspend or terminate access for violations of these terms, suspected misuse, security risk, legal requirements, or material harm to the service or others. You may request account deletion by contacting us.

10. Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Acrux services are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of accuracy, availability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. Nothing in these terms excludes rights that cannot legally be excluded.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Acrux will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, opportunities, data, or goodwill arising from use of the service. Any liability that cannot be excluded will be limited to the amount paid to Acrux for the affected service during the twelve months before the claim.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service develops or legal requirements change. The effective date above will be updated when material changes are published. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
